Dear Supporters of Onda Origins,
I hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy–my heart goes out to those whose health has been directly affected by this pandemic.
The health and safety of Onda's staff and customers is the most important thing. We have a generous paid time-off policy for EVERYONE on staff, including our hourly cafe & roastery team, who have been going above and beyond our already excellent hygiene and sanitation protocols.
Most of you are likely aware that Governor Inslee has issued an emergency proclamation that prevents people from dining in restaurants. I feel grateful to live in a state where leadership has acted quickly and decisively for our collective health, but the economic impact from this measure, and the situation at large, has been immediate and significant. Before I share how you can support Onda, I implore you to support ANY small businesses that you care about: online orders, gift cards, and pickup/delivery all make a big difference. A lot of people's hopes, dreams, and livelihoods hang in the balance.
As we've seen many friends in the Seattle food and drink scene sadly lose their jobs as a result of these closures, continuing to provide employment for our team during this time is critical to us and we wanted to share some ways that you can help, while keeping everyone safe.
Everyone, everywhere:
Seattle folks:
Buena Onda (good vibes),
