Meet Ivonne Herrera

Ivonne grew up watching her parents and grandparents grow and sell coffee. At age 21, she decided to take up the career herself. She now owns and oversees all coffee production at Finca Mirador del Volcán, located just outside her home village of Los Pocitos, about an hour and a half drive south from Guatemala City.

    New Favorite!

    I have been to Guatemala several times and always felt their espresso beans were unsurpassed for richness and flavor. I didn’t have a reliable source however until my son who lives in Seattle let me try some Onda Irene Herrera. Instant favorite. I ordered two bags for an extended family visit in Coronado (everyone is a budding barista) and two more bags which just came today to my primary residence. I intend to vacuum seal and freeze one bag and use the other one right away. Ordering is super simple through Shop. The delivery is extremely prompt with excellent daily communication as to the delivery progress. I received mine just 4 days after the roast date so actually need to let them rest a few days before using. I rotate through a couple of different medium roasts but this is my new favorite!

    Best Coffee in Seattle!

    I love all of the Onda roasts. They always arrive fast and are always fresh. I have never regretted any of their coffees although I prefer the medium roasts. You won't regret giving them a try.
