Sergio Garcia Campos / Peru

Sergio Garcia Campos / Peru

This washed Peruvian coffee, made up of Caturra, Bourbon, Typica, and Catimor, is sweet, balanced, and quietly complex. With notes of honey and apricot, it’s a reminder that Peru does “approachable” without being boring—and does it with care for the land.

How We Source Our Coffee

While we love working directly with individual producers, not every coffee can come from a single, named farm. In many regions, smallholder farmers pool their harvests, rely on cooperatives, or depend on community-led processing to access the specialty market. In these cases, a direct relationship with every individual isn’t always possible—and sometimes, it isn’t even the most equitable model for that community.

But our standards don’t shift. We only work with partners who prioritize farmer income, stable pricing, and transparent processing. And regardless of the sourcing model, we remain committed to revenue sharing and sending more value back to the people who grew the coffee. Whether it’s one producer or an entire community, growers are centered in how we buy, pay, and tell the story. And no matter what, we make sure they see an additional $1/lb after the coffee is roasted.
