TOP COFFEES OF 2024
#1 - Tusitala / Blend
This medium roast, modern espresso blend of specialty beans maintains approachability, balance, and clarity of flavor without compromising the quality of its single-origin parts. It's what we use on espresso across all our shops. Not making espresso? Trust us, this blend is delicious across all brew methods, including French press and pour over.
#2 - Kiko Ribeiro / Brazil
There are lots of reasons we’ve been teaming up with Kiko since we started roasting coffee in 2016. Just one: Kiko’s high quality microlots yield some of the tastiest, most stand-by coffee we’ve known. It continues to be a top seller year after year - and it makes a really, really good at-home latte.
#3 - Ivonne Herrera / Guatemala
Ivonne’s been in the small-scale growing game for a long time, and the quality of her coffee shows it. This varietal is accessible, well-rounded, and great for specialty connoisseurs and lay coffee lovers alike.
#4 - Enrique Navarro / Costa Rica
Enrique’s family won the prestigious Costa Rica Cup of Excellence in 2014, and you’ll understand why when you try this coffee. This Catistic varietal brings fruity and chocolatey notes together in a specialty bean that works beautifully with any brew method.
#5 - Sergio & Anita / Decaf
When a decaf coffee makes the top 5, you know it's good. This specialty-grade coffee is decaffeinated without chemicals using the Swiss Water Process, so it maintains the flavor profile of a true specialty cup. Lose the caffeine without loss of quality.
Honorable Mention - Ana Nelly Luna / Colombia / Pink Bourbon
Ana Nelly Luna's Pink Bourbon (pronounced bur-BONE) wins for best-selling Reserve of 2024. It's a fancy, sensitive hybrid varietal known for its striking pink cherries and sweet, complex flavor. That we were able to score this one from Ana Nelly is exciting, and we're glad you're loving it!
